2nd OMBOK Children’s Art COMPETITION

September 3, 2018 @ 1pm, Nijaga Park, Calbayog City

Theme: Vibrant and Bright Calbayog City @ 70 years

Venue: Nijaga Park, Calbayog City
Guidelines:

1. This is an On-the-Spot Children’s Art Competition open to children age 7-11 in all public
and private elementary schools in Calbayog City.
2. Only One (1) entry is allowed per kid.
3. All interested parties shall submit an artwork for the pre-qualifying screening using
CRAYPAS as a medium.
4. Entries must be executed on a standard size white linen cartolina on or before August
20, 2018.
5. Screening is on August 24, 2018.
6. Twenty (20) finalists shall be selected for the On-the-Spot Children’s Art Competition.
7. Finalists shall bring their own materials (craypas, white linen cartolina, mounting
board, etc.)
8. Any markings of individual names, brands, logos, agencies and the like should not
appear in the face of the canvass. This is a ground for disqualification. Name of artist,
title of entry and name of school shall be written at the back of the canvass.
9. Entries should depict the theme and concept of the competition which focuses on the
traditional occupations in Calbayog City. The contestant shall be guided by an
explanation of the given theme.
10. Contest shall start at 1pm and shall extend for three (3) hours, on September 3 at the
Nijaga Park.
11. Judging shall start at 5pm of the same day.
12. All finalists’ artworks are deemed the property of CACO and shall be displayed in Art
Exhibit for the duration of the festival.
13. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and non-appealable.

Creativity 30%
Visual Impact 30%

Each finalist shall receive a certificate of participation.
