PRELIMINARIES
Peanut Butter Catch
Be the first team to cross the line. All team members must stick the pingpong ball to
a bread spread with peanut butter in order to pass the challenge. The pingpong ball
must bounce once from the floor to credit the turn of each team member. Every
MISS shall be dealt with the army camouflage (ITIM ng kaldero).

Materials needed:
1. Pingpong Ball
2. Slice Bread (regular size)
3. Peanut Butter
4. 1 empty box of zest-o
Yes…you are providing the zest-o box, SLICE BREAD and the PEANUT BUTTER. You
are not allowed to buy the needed materials. So, go and find the enumerated

Sheet 2: Walking the Mind


PUZZLE #1
A 30-year old man married a 25-year old woman. She died at
age 50 and her husband was so devastated that he cried for
years. Ten years after he stopped crying, he died. If he had lived
to be 80, for how many years was he a widower?

Sheet : The 1st FLAG
Together We Stand…Together We Fall
Close Na Kasi Tayo. Tie all the RIGHT HANDS of the team members using the rope
you’ve won from the previous challenge. Everybody shall be tied up all throughout
the challenges (except when instructed). Violation of this rule shall mean
disqualification of the team from joining the race. Strategize…Your arrangement of
team members will surely affect the energy, pacing, patience and endurance of the
individual grantee to finish the chase. If done…take Challenge #1.

Challenge 1: MEGA BUBBLE


To get the 1st Flag, the TEAM must BLOW 3 pcs of soap bubble and guide it across the
15 feet area and through a hoop using only the player’s personal wind power.
Materials Needed:
1. Soap Bubble Solution
2. 1 round table
3. One improvised hoop measuring 12 inches in diameter
4. Any other materials that will keep the improvised hoop in place on top of the
table.

FIND ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED to WIN Challenge #1.

Sheet 4: Math-tinik
PUZZLE #2
Add 2 to 171 and make it less than eighteen.
PRIZE @ Stake
One egg for each member and the same shall be carried all throughout
the challenge until morning for breakfast. No egg, no breakfast
policy. Egg shall be carried personally by the team member with
his/her hand. Discovered eggs in the bags and pockets shall be dealt
with sanctions or disqualification.

Submit the answer to the Challenge Director for verification.

Sheet 5: The 2nd Flag
CHALLENGE #2: Improvised fishing pole.

Task is for each team member to catch garbage from the river using the
fishing pole along the boardwalk of Calbayog River. Team leaders shall
take precautionary measures to protect the members from any
untoward incident along the river challenge.

Don’t forget about the ROPE and EGG POLICY. Violation is equivalent to
1 meter deduction of rope length and 1 egg confiscation.

PRESENT the collected garbage from the river to the CD. If successful,
the Challenge Director will release 3 members from the rope chain based
on the team’s consensus. Be CAREFUL on your decisions.

The 3 released members shall locate the 2nd Flag mounted within Nijaga
Park while rest of the team will converge @ Rizal Monument.

AFTER LOCATING THE FLAG: Get the next instruction sheet from Kuya
Atan (Sheet 6) after successfully getting the 2nd Flag.

Sheet 6: Walking the Mind


PUZZLE #3:
Draw your playing card…only diamonds are allowed to answer the puzzle. Rest of
the team shall be in taped-mouth state. Every after 5 minutes, a member may help
but through charade.

1. How would you rearrange the letters in the words NEW DOOR to
make one word? Note: There is only one correct answer.
2. Complete the sequence…J, F, M, A, M, J, J, A____, ____, _____, _____.
3. The Lone ranger rode into town on Friday. He stayed 5 consecutive days
and left on Friday. How could this be?

Violation is equivalent to 1 meter deduction of rope length. Prizes @


stake: P200.00 and a chance to choose the best accommodation to stay
for the night after completing challenge #3.

Sheet 7: 3rd Flag
CHALLENGE #3: PAPER PLATE BRIDGE
From RIZAL MONUMENT, your team shall pass a PAPER PLATE
Bridge (each one must have a paper plate) to the CACO Theater
Stage. If a team member falls from the bridge, the team shall
start again from the Rizal Monument. Please be reminded of
the ROPE and EGG Policy.

After completing the challenge, the CD will release 4 members based on


the team’s consensus but will tie up again one member from
the 1st three released members.

EARN another P100.00 and the permission to get hold of the 3rd FLAG
and the succeeding instructions for the next level. Get it from your Kuya
Atan (Sheet 8). Sequence of team completion shall be timed.

Sheet 8: A Night to Remember


CHALLENGE #4: BUILD YOUR HOME
1. EVERYBODY must stay for the night. Going home is not an option.
One for all. All for one. Night challenges are definite and unwavering.
2. The place must be lit with SULO from 10pm-2am.
3. Do not use the facilities/utilities of the office but water and the
comfort room. The ROPE and EGG policy is still enforced.
4. Guard the flag/egg/sulo the whole night. A Stolen flag/egg/sulo is
equivalent to a 10-minute game suspension the following day.
5. The team leader must ensure that every member shall have at least 5
hours of sleep.
6. Curfew at 10pm.
7. Prepare the team’s breakfast at 6am or earlier.
8. Everyone is required to wash up prior to the games @ 7am the
following day.
9. It’s your halftime. Evaluate and Plan for the next day!
AFTER securing your place to stay, Collect the EGGS and place them in a
secure place. Have your DINNER.
Sheet 9: It’s a NEW Day
PUZZLE #4: WHAT WORD AM I?
SOLVE THE PUZZLE INSIDE YOUR AOR (accommodation). Approach the
CD for answer verification.

Sheet 10: Challenges are Opportunities


CHALLENGE #5: Pencil Challenge Relay
Be the first team to cross the line.
All team members must pass through the challenges by
catching the pencils placed on top of the hand (7pencils
then 5 pencils then 3 pencils). The last 3 pencils must be
bounced into the glass to finish the relay.

After successfully completing the challenge, the CD will


release again 3 members from the rope chain.

CHALLENGE #6: BOODLE FIGHT
FIND WAYS to prepare your lunch.
RULES:
1. Use of kerosene is PROHIBITED.
2. Food preparation must be done within the CACO
premises. No canned goods.

Draw your meal card…


1. Diamonds will eat with blindfold.
2. Hearts will eat with his/her secondary hand.
3. Clubs will eat with NO HANDS
4. Spades will eat normally.

CHALLENGE #7: MINE FIELD
Taking risks, problem solving, communication, learning from mistakes and leadership are
all covered in this fun and challenging minefield game.

Stepping into the unknown is necessary for any team to grow and move ahead, but how
will your team perform?

Once the field is ready, one team member is blindfolded and not allowed
to talk. The other member can see and talk but has to lead their partner
from a distance, without entering the field or touching them. The goal is
for the blindfolded person to get from one side of the field to the other
without touching any mines. If a person touches a mine, they must go
back to the start and try again.
Every member of the team must cross the mine field.
The 5th Flag is just across the field.

CHALLENGE #7: RIDDLE SCAVENGER HUNT
WORK as a TEAM.
No single member is allowed to perform the given task.

Riddle Scavenger Hunt offers great ways to engage the team members in a fun activity that
involves interaction with the other teams and the social environment. Take photos of the
following with all the members of the team;
1. What always runs but never walks, often murmurs, never talks, has a bed but
never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats?
2. I am the beginning of the end, the end of time and space. I am essential to
creation. And surround every place. What am I?
3. They have no flesh nor feathers, nor scales nor bones. But they have fingers,
And thumbs of their own. What are they?
4. Heto na si kaka, bubuka-bukaka.
5. Malaking supot ni Mang Jacob, kung sisidlan ay pataob.

CHALLENGE #7: CHALLENGE RELAY
PENCIL CATCH
Catch the 10 pencils on your hands to pass the challenge.
Pong Spoon Scoop
Transfer the ping pong balls from one bowl to another by holding the spoon in your
mouth. All team members shall pass the challenge.
Shoe on the Table
The player has to sling the shoe on the table only using the foot. All team members shall pass
the challenge.

Bridging the Gap


Using a deck of cards, connect the two plastic caps by building a bridge. All team
members shall pass the challenge.

1. There are three houses built exactly the same. One is filled with cotton, the other with
wood, and the third with iron. One day an arsonist sets them all on fire. The sound of sirens
was growing louder at the scene. People were screaming. Which house did the ambulance try
to put the fire out at first?

2. Jerry and Lisa go out to dinner, and they leave their two friends Tom and Angel home. When
