PANAGPARTUAT: PLASTIC RECYCLING CONTEST

Guidelines:
1. Participants – the PANAGPARTUAT: Plastic Recycling Contest is open to all
bona fide residents of Pantay Tamurong, 15-30 years of age who are willing to
participate on the abovementioned contested activity.
2. Materials – Emphasize the use of plastics, The participants are encouraged to be
creative while ensuring sustainability and relevance.
3. Size and Design – No limitations in terms of size. In terms of creativity, it can be
in the form of flower vase and other related objects that can be done through
plastic bottles or plastic materials.
4. Theme – the theme for the Battukel Art Contest will cover and focus on Arts and
Creativity whereas we are celebrating the National Arts Month with the theme
“PANAGPARTUAT: Imuli’t Pintas ken Arte Kadagiti Agtutubo Babaen
Panagresiklo”
5. Submission Details – the recycled materials must be submitted to SK Office or
any of the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials on or before the deadline (February
11, 2024). Ensure clear instructions regarding submission procedures, labeling
and any specific requirements.
6. Judging Criteria – The SK Pantay Tamurong will establish a fair and transparent
judging process based on various criteria such as follows:

Uniqueness and Originality 30%
Relevance to the Theme 20%
Presentation and Overall Appearance 10%
Total 100%
7. Awards and Recognition – The SK Pantay Tamurong will determine awards for
winners and consider certificate of recognitions and cash prize for all
participants for their efforts.

BATTUKEL ART MAKING CONTEST

Guidelines:
1. Participants – the Battukel Art Contest is open to all Barangay Non-
Governmental Youth Organization in Pantay Tamurong. Each group must
consist of two (2) members.
2. Materials – Emphasize the use of “battuki” or shell and “bukel” or seeds. No
other materials except drawing and pasting materials will utilized.
3. Size and Design – Battukel Art should be in a ¼ illustration board, allowing
flexibility, can be in landscape or portrait form. The Sangguniang Kabataan will
provide the illustration board of the participants.
4. Theme – the theme for the Battukel Art Contest will cover and focus on the
traditional occupation of the Pantay Tamurongians, highlighting the farming and
fishing industry. “Panagtalon ken Panagkalap: Nakannawidan a Pagsapulan”
5. Contest – the Battukel Art Contest will be conducted on February 11, 2024, 2
PM to 5 PM in the afternoon at the Pantay Tamurong Covered Court/Barangay
Plaza.
