Dear Mr S. Wilks, I am writing this letter asking for your permission to record our opening scene, and use the female restroom in the sixth form block, for our media coursework. The students that will be participating are; Carl Caperina (myself), Yasmin Mandil, Ian Bukenya and Sharna Mandil. Our teacher Mr P Assegai will also be there to guide us and help us throughout our time filming. The filming will take around 3 hours minimum but we would like more time just in case we do have problems and need to make quick changes as it would be more helpful and will improve the quality of our work. Our film is a thriller based movie which involves an antagonist (good) and protagonist (bad). The protagonist wakes up in the bathroom not knowing how he got there so he knows something weird is happening. Whilst dazed, he thinks he visualizes a evil girl of some sort, and starts to panic. The protagonist tries to make an escape but the door is locked and he becomes paranoid. He then tries finding this evil girl and sees a pair of feet under the toilet door, kicks the Door open but no one is present. He then thinks he is imagining things but then when he turns around the evil girl is standing right in front of his face and she says I told you it was time. She grabs him by the neck and thats how the opening scene ends. This is the basic storyline of our movie just to give you an understanding of what we will be doing within our time of filming. We would like to use the sixth form girls toilets after school around 3:10 6:10pm We would like to use the schools facilities because the sixth form bathroom is perfect for the type of film we want to do, and it is in school so there is no need to travel far to record our film.
