As A Child

Born at Clermont on June 19, 1623 Father moved to Paris in 1631 to pursue his scientific studies and help educate his son At age 12, Pascal asked about geometry and was taught a bit about it At 14, was admitted to the weekly meetings of French geometricians 4/23/12 and helped lead to the French

Adult Life

At age 18, he constructed the first arithmetical machine and revised it for years In 1650, he abandoned his experiments to study religion Began experimenting again after his fathers death in 1653 Died in Paris on August 19, 1662
