This web site is dedicated to professional translation. However, many people landing here via search engines are only looking for the French translation of common English phrases for dating or travel purposes, such as "nice meeting you", "me too" ... and of course the famous "I love you". If this is your case, you will find here a few English phrases and their French translations, some kind of basic vocabulary you can use if you ever travel to France, chat with French folks online,... or fall for the charms of a French gal/lad. ;-) The column "French translation" is not made of the ultra -sophisticated, never used sentences that frequently plague beginner's phrase books, just usual sentences. I added French phrases in the "informal" column when commonly used. That column contains no profanity. You can safely use it with people you know already.
