Company Profile Gulf Leisure & Entertainment Network (GLEN) Corp. is the official name of the business entity which is the focus of this case study. It is a closed corporation, as it is not publicly listed. It was officially established in the year 2003. The main office of GLEN Corp. is located along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City. They also have eleven branches around Metro Manila and four provincial branches. Branches around the metropolitan area are situated inside various shopping malls, such as Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City and Harrison Plaza in Manila. Five branches are located in Quezon City, two in Taguig, two in Manila, one in Mandaluyong City, two in Araneta Center, and one in Marikina City. Those which are situated outside of Metro Manila are located in Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna. The first branch to be put up was the Fiesta Carnival branch in Araneta Center, Cubao. The newest branches are located in Robinsons Place Starmills, Pampanga and Robinsons Place Dasmarias, Cavite. The company primarily provides indoor amusement in their different branches, for kids ranging from ages 1 to 8 years old. Each branch has play equipment and an activity area which the children can make use of. They also allow parents and guardians to play with their kids on their Soft Play facilities. The Soft Play facility offered by the business is a set of dynamic and innovative play equipment which are safe for children to run around and play in, as they are padded, foamed surfaces which have no sharp edges. This facility allows children to play while giving parents assurance of the safety of their kids. This also allows children to exercise while learning at the same time. GLEN Corp. has suppliers both locally and internationally who provide the utilities offered in their branches. The branches existing rides were purchased locally, while the Softplay amenities are sourced both locally and through imports. The company has a long and good ongoing business relationship with these suppliers.

The business also provides consultation services, as a sideline, for international firms of the same nature. They offer consultation for feasibility, concept design, set up, and operations of amusement parks/family centers. They are currently consultants for firms located in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Taiwan, and Kuwait.
