Attempt to Identify
The subject pictured is wanted for questioning involving several thefts in the Morristown area. He is suspected of taking credit cards from unattended pocketbooks at businesses along Madison Avenue in Morris Township and in Morristown. On September 26, 2011 after taking a wallet, he was seen attempting to make several purchases in the Florham Park area. On September 29, 2011 after taking another wallet, he was seen making purchases in the Morris Plains area. The male is also a suspect in a similar theft in Milburn. The suspect usually attempts to purchase large quantities of Newport Cigarettes before the cards are discovered missing. The individual is described as a tall (6-02 -6-07), thin, black male with a bald head. Surveillance information suggests he always wears a grey sweatshirt, khaki pants and a Yankee hat.
