Explanatory Research We had encountered an issue that is already known if extrinsic motivational level is high it ll definitely Hightened the performance of representatives .we might begin to wonder why things are the way they are. The desire to know why, to explain, is the purpose of explanatory research. It is building on exploratory and descriptive research and goes on to identify the reasons for something that occurs. Explanatory research looks for causes and reasons.

Operationally define the concept Extrinsic motivation

Definition: Extrinsic motivation refers to motivation that comes from outside an individual. The motivating factors are external, or outside, rewards such as money or grades. These rewards provide satisfaction and pleasure that the task itself may not provide. Operationally u can define it as doing an activity for some operationally separable consequence. Real life example: When a representative do sales, he has to explain why he does it. If he is being rewarded extrinsically for doing it, then he can explain to him self that he is doing it for the reward. In this way, rewards can decrease internal motivation as people work to gain the reward rather than because they like doing the work or believe it is a good thing to do.

Formulate a possible hypothesis for research Hypothesis Identify the type of hypothesis and variables Inductive hypothesis

Higher the level of extrinsic motivation hightened will be the performance level coz extrinsic motivation helps to over come the internal motivation of representatives.

Reason:Because this hpothese is generalizing the results on the basis of observations frome practically done experiments.

Justify how it is a testable hypothesis

It is A testable hypothesis 1- Because it is providing the repeatably same results. 2- Clear and Cut Results 3- The results provided by this hypothesis is helpful in proving this hypothesis to be right
