    The Big cheese

    Each child will get the opportunity to be the Big Cheese for a week throughout the school year. During your childs special week, he or she will share about himself or herself. This may take some preparation and help from parents at home. Please help your child fill out their packet and collect items to bring from home. The Friday before your childs week, a packet will be sent home for students to fill out. Each day during out morning meeting time, children will discuss and share one page per day. THE BIG CHEESE EVENTS: Monday: Bring your favorite items to decorate your Big Cheese board Tuesday: Bring 4 show & tell items to share with the class Wednesday: Bring your favorite book in to be read Thursday: Bring in a favorite activity for the class to do Ex: Floor puzzles, leggos, favorite coloring book, etc Friday: Bring in a favorite snack to share with the entire class *If interested, students are also allowed to bring in pets or favorite people. If they wish to bring a sibling who also attends this school into the class to introduce, please let me know on Monday so that I can make arrangements with his or her teacher. If they would like to show off their pet, we can visit them outside (due to childrens allergies) whenever a parent would be able to bring them to school for a quick visit
