1st

RIO DE LA PLATA
First grade is watching the movie Manuelita . Manuelita is a famous tortoise from Argentina. The movie is completely in Spanish. They love it!

2nd

EL CARIBE
Second grade is learning about the beautiful Caribbean countries. They take notes enthusiastically when we look at Google Earth!

3rd

LOS INCAS
Each child is now in a group for a specific Spanish speaking country in this region. Children may bring information at any time.

4th

AMERICA CENTRAL
Each child is now in a group for a specific Spanish speaking country in this region. Children may bring information at any time.

LOWER GRADES: Good job reviewing material from last year! All grades have finished their first unit and were evaluated. They are doing very, very well.

UPPER GRADES: All grades are working in their textbooks: Spanish is Fun. I strongly recommend students to take the book home for review before beginning a new chapter.

5th

ESPAA
Students in fifth grade will learn the different regions, history, art and music of the country that brought the Spanish to the Americas.

6th

MAYAS Y AZTECAS
On November 2nd, 6th grade learned about Day of the Day, a special Mexican holiday to honor and celebrate loved ones who have died.
