At this special time of year, our staff and Club members would like to thank the many residents and businesses in the North Penn and Indian Valley areas who have helped make 2011 another successful year for our members. Throughout 2011, the Club offered 4,000 children and teens a safe, supervised, and affordable place to go every day, after school, along with the opportunity to spend time with caring adult staff members, take part in character building educational and recreational programs, and to experience the rewards of setting and achieving goals..all while making friends and having fun! Each day, an energized group of children walk through the front doors of our Clubs. Your continued support means that these children may continue to have a safe place where they can come to find guidance and success, rather than stay home alone or spend time, otherwise, unsupervised. For only a $20 membership fee,

Thanks!

the Club makes this opportunity available to ALL young people. Your support will allow this incredible opportunity to remain an affordable option for the young people of our community. We have all needed someone in our lives to support us and believe in us. Having someone special can change a life. YOU can be the one to make the difference in the lives of the children we serve by supporting the Club this year. We are excited to travel into another year together! We extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to you all for a magical holiday season with family and friends.

*Age restrictions do not apply if children are attending a structured program. *LATE FEE POLICY: You will be charged a $10 fee if you are 15 minutes late picking up your child. After 30 minutes, you will charged an additional $20. After 3 late offenses, your childs membership will be revoked.

TRIPLE PLAY

riple Play is a National Boys & Girls Club program that educates children about good nutrition, making physical fitness a daily practice and developing individual strengths and good character. This winter we will be integrating this program into our North Penn and Indian Valley locations! Across the United States, Boys & Girls Clubs are using the Triple Play Program to achieve certain goals. The Clubs will focus on increasing members knowledge of healthy habits, good nutrition and physical fitness, and increase the ability for members to engage in healthy relationships. The game plan for this program targets the Mind, Body and Soul. Mind is known as the healthy habits portion which deals with making good choices when eating. Body is working to stay physically active. The Soul section of Triple Play deals with the area that the members spend most of their time in, the games room. We will hold each component of the Triple Play program on a different night. Mind, Body and Soul can stand alone, but we believe that integrating all of them into our Clubs will help our members grow into responsible, healthy teenagers!

Mind
The Mind portion of Triple Play is known as Healthy Habits. Within todays world, educating youth on eating right can be a generation-changing and life-enhancing matter. In this program members will learn about what good nutrition means. They will work on making smart food choices, discover what appropriate portion sizes are, and create fun, healthy meals! Indian Valley North Penn When: Thursdays starting January 26th to March 15th When: Wednesdays January 25th March 14th Time: 6:00 7:00 pm Time: 6:00 7:00 pm Ages: 8 10 Ages: 8 10

Body
The Body part of Triple Play will consist of various sports and fitness activities. The activities will allow the members to get up and get moving! Since many other Boys & Girls Clubs take part in this program, there are special challenges everyone takes part in for the fitness activities. Some challenges deal with jump rope, basketball, home runs and much more. Members in this program will also have the chance to create their own challenge. We will be able to log our challenge results and see how our members rank against other Boys & Girls Clubs! North Penn & Indian Valley Dates: Tuesdays starting January 24th to March 13th Time: 6:00 7:00 pm Ages: 8-10

Soul
Our Soul section of Triple Play will be a program held in the upstairs gamesroom. Among Boys & Girls Clubs in the country, the gamesroom is referred to as the heart of the Club because its the first place members begin interacting with others. It also sets the tone for their experience at the Club. Members spend most of their time interacting in the gamesroom. Within this program, members will have opportunities to strengthen their character, build confidence and improve their ability to relate well with others through gamesroom competitions and challenges. North Penn Indian Valley When: Thursdays starting January 26th to March 15th When: Wednesdays starting January 25th to March 14th Time: 6:00pm 7:00 pm in the upstairs gamesroom (No class on February 29th) Ages: 8 10 Time: 6:00 7:00 pm in the upstairs gamesroom Ages: 8 10
