It should be a rock from outside that they can use throughout the unit. Please do not have you child bring in any store bought rocks.

Unit: Rocks and Minerals Milk Of the Week: We are starting a new unit over rocks and minerals this week. Throughout the week we will be discussing what we already know about rocks, and what we would like to learn. I will also be asking the students to find a pet rock this week that we will use throughout the unit. Social Studies Unit: Native Americans Milk of the Week: We are starting our unit on Native Americans this week. To begin we will be making a Native American Flipbook on each tribe we are learning about.
