AIM:

DESCRIPTION:

Chassis Dynamometers: This is a model concept Ior total electronic testing oI two-
wheeler chassis dynometer Ior motorcycles, scooter, mopeds etc. The chassis dynometer
simulates the driving conditions on road in a control environment. This has many distinct
advantages oI testing various parameters oI two-wheelers, the most important one is the
possibility oI testing complete vehicle perIormance or engine perIormance as installed. There is
no necessity to take engine out Irom the vehicle.
Use oI chassis dynamometer allows the test engineer to simulate road load conditions in
laboratory and it can be termed as all weather road` Ior the test vehicle. The road load on the
vehicle can be put on the engine on a chassis and quick results can be obtained.
