5 A RESOLUTION WELCOMING THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. LA SALLE TO ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012.

WHEREAS, the Academic Year 2011-2012 has just started last June 8, 2011; WHEREAS, the Student Senate recognizes the supremacy of the student body for all power comes from them; WHEREAS, it is stated in Art. II Sec. 2 of the Student Organization Constitution of 2003 that the USLS SG has the primary duty of serving the students, promoting their welfare and protecting their rights; WHEREAS, the Student Senate warmly welcomes the student body to Academic Year 20112012; NOW IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING; BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Student Senate of USLS to welcome the student body to A.Y. 2011-2012; RESOLVED FURTHER, it is best that the Lasallian community will take an active part in welcoming its new and continuing members; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Committee on Issues and Advocacy shall be tasked to post copies of this resolution at the Senate bulletin board and the Daily Bulletin; RESOLVED FINALLY, that the Senate Secretary will be responsible to post an enlarged copy on the bulletin board of the Student Senate. This Resolution shall take effect immediately after its approval. UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED and PROMULGATED on this 11th day of June, 2011 by the Student Senate of the University of St. La Salle. .
