Resolution No. 2 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NEW MISSION-VISION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. LA SALLE STUDENT GOVERNMENT LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT FOR AY 2011 - 2012

WHEREAS, the USLS SO Constitution of 2003, Article VIII, Section 1 states that the legislative power shall be vested in the Student Senate of the University of St. La Salle; WHEREAS, the Student Senate has formulated its new Mission Vision for AY 2011 2012 during the senate special session no. 2 WHEREAS, included below is the newly formulated Vision-Mission of the Student Senate AY 2011-2012; VISION-MISSION The Legislative Branch of the University Student Government of the University of St. La Salle A.Y. 2011 2012, Inspired by the life and teachings of St. John Baptist De La Salle, and in celebration of the 100 years of Lasallian presence in the Philippines, aims to impart honest, fair and responsive governance, ensure the welfare of the students and instill the Lasallian spirit with pride, by realizing the I LIVE LASALLE vision of the USG. As one senate, it commits itself to recognize the students as the life and reason of its existence through efficient and effective delivery of service, by enacting laws to further improve the experience of the student body. It also commits itself to be internally efficient in order to enhance the personal growth and development of each member of the student senate. NOW IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING; BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the student senate of the University of St. La Salle to follow and adhere to the new mission-vision that the senate had formulated; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Committee on Issues and Advocacy shall be tasked to post a copy of this resolution on the official bulletin board of the Legislative Branch and on the Daily Bulletin; RESOLVED FINALLY, that the Senate Secretary furnish copies of this resolution to the following individuals and offices: Brother President, Vice President for Administration, Vice President for Finance, Dean of Student Affairs, Student Activities Coordinator, USG Executive President, USG College Councils, USG Constitutional Commissions, USG Judiciary Department, Varsity Sports Office and the Official gazette of the University - The Spectrum.

This resolution shall take effect immediately after its approval. UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED and PROMULGATED on this 11th day of June, 2011 by the Student Senate of the University of Saint La Salle.
