on a warm winters day I walked outside Id never seen a day as beautiful as this one my heart was filled with love the love of a woman who loved me and I loved her too beyond compare the snow never looked as bright as on that day clear blue gentle skies gleaming with shades of white clouds smiling at me a world of love dwelling in mine because of her a love and a happiness I have never known before! this was many winters ago Fates twisted mind separated us and I lost the love of my life time has healed my sorrows sort of for tears no longer rain as often as before on quite mellow nights like these I remember her with love; with tenderness and how I miss her infinitely! my mind wanders into her love a bitter sweetness invades my soul her spirit touches my spirit and writing poems is all I know to console this lonely grieving heart of mine and hers
