Because we encourage the relationship between home and school, it is our pleasure to invite you to Newtown Middle School on the days and times listed below. This opportunity is intended to help you become more familiar with the teachers and programs of the school. Council Rock Education Week serves to more formally involve you in the exciting happenings that take place here daily. In addition, this will provide an excellent opportunity to both experience and better understand our middle level program. We encourage you to take advantage of Council Rock Education Week. VISITATION DATES Monday, Jan. 9 (Day 5A), Tuesday Jan. 10 (Day 6A), Wednesday Jan. 11 (Day 1A) Thursday, Jan. 12 (Day 2B) VISITATION HOURS 8:48 AM - 11:06 AM and 12:39 PM - 3:00 PM Scheduled classroom activities to keep in mind as you plan your visit: Monday, Jan. 9 Counselor Course Selection Visits to 8th Grade English Classes All Day Thursday, Jan. 12 8th Grade HS Transition Meeting (8:00 - 8:30 w/Susan McCarthy and Ellie Short) Thursday, Jan. 12 7th Grade Spelling Bee (2:00 3:00) In addition to the classroom visitations, we would like to invite you to attend one of the three Discussion Groups offered during Council Rock Education Week. The conversations will take place in our Conference Room and the topics will be driven by your questions. We hope to see you there!
