GOVERNING SYSYTEM CHANGE OVER

1. EHG to HG : 1. Tracking device is OFF when the ELECT HYD TURB CONTROL FAULT Alarm on BTG panel. 2. Reduce the Starting device and see that EHG is raising and Observe Secondary oil dip of HP/IP. 3. Further reduce Starting device to observe decreasing the load. 4. For confirmation please increase the EHG position to maximum extent by increasing the load set point. 5. Machine can be loading by using Starting device. 6. Close the secondary oil valves at Governing rack. 2. HG to EHG : 1. Reduce the EHG position just nearer to the Starting device by decreasing the load set point. 2. Reduce the load set point near to the actual load. 3. Open the valves at Governing rack. 4. Reduce the load set point and observe HP/IP secondary oil. 5. Observe the load variation by increasing the Starting device i.e. loads should not vary if EHG is active. 6. Switch on tracking device.
