1. INTRODUCTION

1. This document describes control philosophy for GEG.

2. PRECHECKS BEFORE THE GEG START.

1. Provide continuous Power supply to GG Auxiliary panel for running

aux. feeder in order to start the gas genset.
2. DC voltage in Auxiliary panel should be 24 to 27 Volt.
3. HT & LT coolant pressure (Pump suction) should be 1.5 bar to 2 bar.
4. HT coolant temperature should be 40 to 50 Deg C.
5. Starter battery voltage should be 24 to 27 Volt.
6. Gas pressure should be 90 mbar to 120 mbar at engine inlet.
7. All alarm & fault in Easygen controller should be in reset condition.
8. All alarm & fault in TEM screen should be in reset condition.
9. Checked any leakage, if any leakage need to attend before start up.
3. OPERATING PHILOSOPHY

4. AFTER START THE GEG.

• Walk around the plant to inspect GENSET, pumps, leaks (lube oil, coolant, and fuel),
fuel system and coolant circuit, oil circuit, radiator, exhaust fan, ventilation system,
battery, etc.
• Check all parameters in TEM and Easygen. All parameters must be within limits.
• Monitor all the parameters and note them in the log sheet.
• If there is any fault in the team, then before resetting, save 6 minutes history
