Brief Title: SixteenHT Collective The Brief Mandatory Requirements To set up a print-based collective with Ben McKean, Pawel Adamek, Sam Wallbank and Will Duffy. The first leg of the collective to get us up and running is to have a stall at the Leeds Artists book fair at Leeds University in March. This involves branding the collective, setting up a blog/website, business cards and twitter so that we can function as a collective. The brief also involves producing print work for the book fair. We will be producing work based on the concept of metamorphosis. Interpretation of the word is where we can be creatively free as individuals in the collective. The only requirements are that we stick to print. There should be a variety of print-based material on the stall at the fair. All research and development should be recorded on Design Practice and Design Context blogs. Use of collective branding across the branding for the book fair and web presence. Deliverables Collective Branding for collective. Business cards. Exhibition Book Fair Promotional material for book fair. Screen printed posters. Postcards. Tote bags. Promotional book.

Background/ Considerations Research into other design/illustration collectives is essential. This will help us understand how to run our own as well as give us ideas on how to maintain it and even develop it. Creative exploration of the theme of metamorphosis is also essential for individual contribution to the group at the book fair. Assigning roles within the group as the project develops will be essential for efficiency and a professional attitude. Target Audience People who are interested and love music homegrown and based in Leeds. It is is to appeal to a wide variety of people.
