Academic Honor Statement
On my Honor, I Promise:
I will not at any time be involved in cheating, plagiarism, fabrication, misrepresentation, or any other form of copying or academic misconduct. I will not copy other people's work. All materials submitted for grading will be my own work.

If I join in Group Study: I will write up solutions on my own. Solutions of two students will not match in wording. I will acknowledge my group members by listing their names in each problem. If I get help from an internal or external tutor, I will learn only methodology from him. Solutions and final writing will be my own. I understand that other cases will be dealt with as plagiarism. I will not allow others to copy my work. I understand this is my own responsibility.

I understand that this statement is for my own honor and for the dignity of my Department and Institution. I acknowledge that I am not forced to accept this statement, and I have not forced anyone else to accept it. I understand that no one other than myself can make me abide by this statement. It is only me who can keep a check whether this promise is fulfilled or not. By signing this statement, I confirm I understand that violating this promise will result in penalties including a failing grade for the course, and that the incident will be reported for appropriate disciplinary actions.
