Rules And Regulations For Episode

Dear participants, The event Episode shall be held on March 19, 2012 and shall commence at 3.30 pm (schedule is tentative, but updates shall be provided). Kindly go through the rules and regulations to be kept in mind during your presentation. 1. The presentation has to be prepared on Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (preferably). 2. The extract on the presentation should be short and succinct, in the form of points. Do not mess the slides up with long paragraphs. 3. Employ suitable and professional transitions during the presentation. 4. If you have conducted a survey and captured it in a video, you can include the video clip (or even an audio clip) in your presentation. 5. The presentation time allotted for each team would not be more than 10 minutes. If the team exceeds its respective time limit, marks shall be accordingly deducted by the judges. 6. The presentation would be followed by a 5 min questionnaire by the judges, regarding the teams topic. 7. The presentation has to be done only in English language. 8. Each of the speaker of a team will have to speak during the presentation and should know about the topic (so that he/she is able to answer to the questions, asked by the judges). 9. A 10-12 page report must be prepared by the team and should be given to the judges, for reference before the commencement of the presentation. 10. Try to include graphs and some figures that corroborate the points explained by the presentation. 11. Do not include any irrelevant data/extract in your presentation that would unnecessarily consume your time. Focus on the main points of your presentation and eliminate all the irrelevant data from the slides. 12. Maintain a professional and confident body language throughout the presentation, as you shall be judged, primarily, on the basis of your presentation skills. 13. If possible, try to establish a contact with the audience (known as Audience-Connect), by taking their opinions about some issue(regarding your topic).
