If the first movie tell us about the life of Nagabonar in war situation before independence era. This movie is tell us about the life of Nagabonar in modern era. Nagabonar roled by Deddy Mizwar who is single father who has a child name Bonaga roled by Tora Sudiro. Bonaga is a succes bussinessman in Jakarta, and Bonaga has same characters with his father like : honest, responsible, and unable to express love to women. With his three bestfriends, Pomo ( Darius), Ronni ( Uli Hardiansyah), and Jaki (Michel Muliadro). They are manage strategically business with foreign investors. The main conflict come when Bonaga and his friend want to sel his father palm oil garden in North Sumatera. Nagabonar, his father, is very angry because in that garden there is 3 graves of the peoples who he love so much, there is his wifes graves, his mothers graves, and bujang his best friends graves. Nagabonar thought that Bonaga has no heart because want to sell the graves of the important people in his life. And the main factor which made Nagabonar angry is also because the investors is a japanesse. Facing this problem, Bonaga ask monita to help him explain to his father about the real case. Monita, beautiful woman, independent, and profesional try her best to persuade Bonagas father. Monita and Bonaga loved each other, but they are never express their feeling. When Nagabonar got problem with Bonaga. He met Umar roled by Lukman Sardi who is Bajaj driver. With Umar, he came to the historic place . in this part, its show the reality that less of Indonesion people who doesnt appreciate about history in our country.
