SYNOPSIS PRESENTATION ON Accelerometer Based Hand Action Recognition

Introduction
A wearable controller that uses accelerometers to acquire action of the hand and then maps an action to an arbitrary keystroke. We will place accelerometers on fingers and on the back of the hand. The microcontroller will read the output of the accelerometers and simulates a finite state machine to compute the gesture and the motion of the hand. The gesture and motion information is then will be send to autonomous vehicle through transmitter. Then it will be fed to the microcontroller which in turn generate the control signals for motors.

Main Components
Accelerometer ATmega644 microcontroller IR Transmitter and Receiver Atmega16 microcontroller Stepper Motor

Uses
It can be used in aerodynamics for controlling aircrafts for military purpose. For input control for video games, For slides control for presentations ..

Accelerometer
It measures acceleration from a capacitive sensing cell which forms two back-to-back capacitors. when the center plate deflects due to acceleration, the value of capacitors will change and acceleration data can be extracted.

CONCLUTION
The main advantage of this project is that user can use his hand motions to control any machine We can even feed these signals to computer to control any program.
