THE ADVENTURES OF DETECTIVE DAN- THE SECOND ROBBER MUSIC: JAZZ BEATS NARRATOR: The adventures of Detective Dan. MUSIC: JAZZ BEATS Scene: 1 INT. BANK- EARLY MORNING (ROBBERS ENTER BANK AND ROB IT) SOUND: PEOPLE TALKING SOUND: CASH DRAWS OPENING AND CLOSING. ROBBER 1: (SERIOUS) Hands up! this is a hold up! ROBBER 2: (SERIOUS) Give us all the money in the cash draw! Now! SOUND: RELEASING SAFETY CATCH ON A GUN SOUND: SCREAM SOUND: MONEY (PAPER CRUMBLING) SOUND: PEOPLE RUNNING SOUND: GUN SHOTS Scene: 2 INT. DETECTIVE OFFICEMORNING (DETECTIVE DAN SITTING AT A DESK AND JOE ENTERS.) SOUND: PEOPLE TALKING DAN: Good Morning, Joe. JOE: Good Morning, Dan! DAN: Have you gotten back your detective test scores yet? JOE: Ill go print it out.

DAN: You know that when you pass the test, you will be a detective and I will probably retire. SOUND: PRINTER JOE:(FRUSTRATED) Common, were out of Colored ink again! DAN: What about black ink? That will be good enough. JOE: Ya, probably. SOUND: PRINTER (PRINTING) JOE: Here you go. SOUND: FLIPPING PAGES (PAPER) DAN: Good Job. You past. Youre officially a detective... (TELEPHONE RINGING INTERRUPTS DAN) SOUND: TELEPHONE RINGING (DAN PICKS UP THE PHONE) DAN: Detective Dan. SOUND: PERSON MUMBLING OUT OF THE PHONE DAN: OK, Ill be right there. SOUND: HANGING UP THE PHONE. JOE: Who was that? DAN: Mr. Hatchet, the banker. Quick! Were heading for the Bank!. It just got robbed. SOUND: FOOT STEPS (RUNNING) SOUND: CAR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING SOUND: CAR ENGINE STARTS AND LEAVES (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: DAN: This will be your first case as a detective and probably my last case as a detective. SCENE: 3 INT. BANK MORNING (DAN TALKING TO BANKER)

NARRATOR: Detective Dan and his Assistant Joe arrive at the bank and ask the banker some questions and look for clues. SOUND: CAR STOPS SOUND: CAR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING SOUND: WALKIE TALKIE AND POLICE SIREN SOUND: FOOT STEPS DAN: Hello Mr Hatchet. MR. HATCHET: Hello. DAN: So. What exactly happened, Mr. Hatchet? MR. HATCHET: (SHOCKED) It happened pretty fast. While I was answering a customers questions, suddenly two Men with a gun enter the bank. They forced me to give them all the money. Then they left quickly. DAN: How much money did they steal? MR. HATCHET: (SHOCKED) Of course they did not steal everything, since not all of the money is in the cash draw, but they stole about 30,000 dollars. DAN: (THINKING) Do you still remember what they looked like? (JOE INTERRUPTS DAN) JOE: Sorry to disturb you, but I just have found fingerprints of one of he robbers. The customers told me that one of them was standing back there. The finger prints are from Mr. Crosby. I sent a police car of to find him. (CONTINUED)

MR. HATCHET: Thats true. The other robber was standing right here and was the one with the gun, but he had leather gloves on, so you will probably not find any fingerprints. DAN: Is there anything else you remember about the robber? MR. HATCHET: Yes, I do remember! He had a part of his ear missing. DAN: Thank you, Mr. Hatchet. (DAN AND JOE WALK OUT OF THE BANK) SOUND: FOOT STEPS JOE: What did you find out? DAN: About 30,000 dollars were stolen, the second robber had on leather gloves, so no fingerprints, and he also had a part of his ear missing. JOE: Who do you suspect could the second person could be? DAN: Two people. Samuel Tucker and Benjamin Rutherford. Both of them have a piece of their ear missing and have committed crimes in the past since both of them do not have a job. SOUND: FOOT STEPS DAN: By the way, can you look up where Samuel Tucker lives and where Benjamin Rutherford lives? Then you can pick them up with two policemen and bring them to the interrogation room. Meanwhile, I will try to find out more information about both of them. JOE: Yes, so well meet in an hour. MUSIC: JAZZ BEATS NARRATOR: Well be right back with the adventures of detective Dan after a short commercial.

Commercial MUSIC: HAPPY MAN: Detective Dan presents you Saahils Candy Stores. LITTLE CHILD: Sick and tired of doing your chores, go to Saahils Candy stores! MAN: There are five in town! HAPPY (FADING OUT) NARRATOR: Now were back with detective Dan and the second robber. SCENE: 4 EXT. ROBBERS HOUSE- EARLY NOON (JOE AND TWO POLICEMAN IN FRONT OF MR. TUCKER) SOUND: KNOCKING ON DOOR SOUND: DOOR OPENING MR. TUCKER: Hello, what can I do for you? JOE: Hello Mr. Rutherford. My name is detective Joe and I would like to ask you some questions at the detective office. Could you please take a seat in the car. MR. TUCKER: Why? What did I do? JOE We just want to ask you some questions. SOUND: FOOT STEPS SOUND: CAR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING (MR. TUCKER SLOWLY GETS INTO THE CAR AND THEY DRIVE OFF) SOUND: CAR DRIVING OFF

SCENE: 5 EXT. ROBBERS HOUSE- EARLY NOON (JOE AND THE TWO POLICEMAN KNOCKING ON MR. RUTHERFORDS DOOR WHILE MR. TUCKER IS IN THE CAR.) SOUND: KNOCKING ON DOOR SOUND: DOOR OPENING MR. RUTHERFORD Hello? JOE: Hello Mr Rutherford, my name is detective Joe. Mat we ask you some questions at the detectives office. Could you please take a seat in the car. MR. RUTHERFORD: OK. Whats wrong? JOE: Youll find out. SOUND: FOOT STEPS SOUND: CAR DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING (MR. RUTHERFORD GOES INTO THE CAR) SOUND: CAR DRIVING OFF SCENE: 6 INT. DETECTIVES OFFICE IN THE INTERROGATION ROOM- NOON (JOE AND DAN ARE IN THE INTERROGATION ROOM WITH MR. RUTHERFORD) NARRATOR: The two suspected thieves are know at the detectives office and one of them is being questioned by detective Dan and Joe. DAN: Mr. Rutherford, where were you this morning? MR. RUTHERFORD: (NERVOUS) I was sleeping in today because I was working over time yesterday evening. JOE: And, where do you work?

CONTINUED: MR. RUTHERFORD:(NERVOUS) I am a bar tender at the Hilton hotel. (DAN PICKS UP A PHONE) SOUND: TELEPHONE DAN: Could you please send in Mr. Tucker. SOUND: TELEPHONE HANGING UP DAN: Mr. Rutherford, could you please go outside. MR. RUTHERFORD: Yes. SOUND: FOOT STEPS

(MR. RUTHERFORD GOES OUTSIDE AND MR. TUCKER ENTERS THE IRRIGATION ROOM) DAN: Take a seat, Mr. Tucker. (DAN WHISPERS TO JOE) DAN: (WHISPERING) Can you go to the printer in the office and print a picture of the first robber, Mr. Crosby? (JOE RUNS OFF TO GO FETCH THE PICTURE) SOUND: FOOTSTEPS RUNNING DAN: Where were you this morning? MR. TUCKER: (NERVOUS) I was celebrating my mothers birthday. DAN: Where you at home? MR. TUCKER: (NERVOUS) Ya, including my family. (JOE ENTERS AND WHISPERS TO DAN) JOE: Heres the picture. (DAN TALKS TO MR. TUCKER)

DAN: Do you know this person? SOUND: PAPER (DAN HANDS MR. TUCKER A PICTURE OF MR. CROSBY) MR. TUCKER: (NERVOUS) Ya, I have seen him before, why? DAN: The bank just got robbed this morning by Mr. Crosby. MR. TUCKER: (NERVOUS) Well I was not involved in it. (DAN PICKS UP A PHONE) SOUND: TELEPHONE DAN: Could you please send in Mr. Rutherford. SOUND: TELEPHONE HANGING UP DAN: Mr. Tucker, could you please go outside. MR. TUCKER: (NERVOUS) Ya. SOUND: FOOT STEPS (MR. RUTHERFORD ENTERS) DAN: So, Mr. Rutherford, do you know this person? (DAN HANDS MR. RUTHERFORD A PICTURE OF MR. CROSBY) MR. RUTHERFORD: (NERVOUS) What? I would never work with blond people. I hate them! (DAN AND JOE LEAVE THE ROOM) SOUND: FOOTSTEPS JOE: Pretty difficult to find out who the second robber is.
