Picture Stories by Radlov was first published

in 1960, by Raduga Publishers of Moscow.
This book appeared in almost all Indian
languages and could be bought on the
pavement for just a few rupees.
Unfortunately, after the disintegration of
Russia this book has been out of print for
over a decade.
This child friendly book contains Picture
Stories, which are full of fun, mischief and
surprises. These stories do not attempt to
sermonise, preach or teach. They are sheer,
unadulterated fun for children. As the stories
are wordless - only a series of pictures,
children can make up their own stories. The
pictures of a particular story can be cut and
jumbled up and the children can then arrange
them in their proper sequence.
