SOURCING - JOB DESCRIPTION

Evaluate world class suppliers in India for Global requirement. Follow & complete RFQ with right source, cost estimation, price negotiation & support sourcing. Support Supplier to develop world class Quality Systems & Products (Components). Be an active member in design review with Supplier & operations. Ensure timely availability of components supplied to organization based on average weekly usage & coordinate with Suppliers for compliance. Ensure supplier have appropriate project management systems, quality systems, audit effectiveness, drive corrective action plans & supplier process improvements. Ensure success of time bound component development programmes. Work closely with Geographic/Global commodity Leaders at plant for development of Global Sourcing Requirement. Coordination of manufacturing v/s supplier component issues to gain quick resolution. Develop Total Cost Models with each supplier to support sourcing decisions.
