Sub: - EEE- Providing capacitors for power factor improvement as per the instructions of APCPDCL authorities-Reg.

In view of increased load in VJIT, sanction was obtained to convert LT (440V) supply to 11 kV supply from APCPDCL authorities. Due to low power factor, heavy penalty was being paid in monthly electricity bills. In order to avoid penalty KVAR capacitors were purchased as advised by APCPDCL authorities. The capacitors were supplied and commissioned by M/S Maruthi Electricals Hyderabad who has attended all major electrical works in VJIT so far. After negotiations, the company agreed to supply the same for Rs1.5 lakhs including all taxes. After the company commissioned the above capacitors, their bill was sent for payment and it was approved by the management. It was learnt that payment was not made due to lake of funds. The contractors has been processing for payment. A Xerox copy of the quotation for 1.5 lakhs is here with submitted once again for arranging payment. It is here by certified that the work was completed by the company and the equipment has been functioning satisfactorily Submitted for orders to arrange early payment of Rs.1.5lakhs to the company at an early date
