Job Description: Clarkstons SAP Consultants assist clients in configuring and implementing their respective SAP systems and serve as senior business systems consultants in their respective areas on client engagements. As expert advisors, they review the clients current business processes and computer systems, define the new business processes and system requirements to be implemented, configure and implement the SAP system to support the new business processes, and assist with knowledge transfer and training of endusers. The SAP ABAP Consultant is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the specification, development, testing, and documentation of ABAP code for SAP implementations. Candidates will need to interpret functional requirements and be able to develop ABAP programs according to the specifications. Programs to be developed include, but are not limited to, the following: conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Successful candidates must have a deep understanding of ABAP and SAP best practices and the ability to advise clients on these practices. Successful candidates will also have a strong ability to understand clients business processes and create solutions addressing the current and future needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage small teams to interpret functional requirements and be able to develop ABAP programs according to the specifications. Programs to be developed include, but are not limited to, the following: conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of Functional Specifications. Create detailed systems documentation, test scripts, and presentations.

Experience programming in the following technical areas: Reporting (conventional and interactive), Userexits, BDC and Call-Transaction, Interfaces including ALE, IDOC, and BAPI, Module Pool (on-line dialog), SAPScript and Smart-Forms, Object Oriented ABAP, and Business Add-Ins .

Leverage technical expertise to address ABAP Workbench tools such as ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Area Menus, SAP Script, Function Builder, Transactions, and Business Object Builder. Develop and deploy interfaces and conversion programs to/from existing legacy systems. Provide general technical support for our clients and conduct SAP training as required for client personnel. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical analysts and client personnel assigned to the projects. Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent discipline required. At least Two (2) years of prior professional consulting or equivalent technical industry experience. Three (3) years of hands-on ABAP development experience with the following: conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Successfully completed at full life cycle implementations of a SAP system. One (1) year of team lead experience leading technical teams in SAP implementations. Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements and project plans/tasks. Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities. Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and write at publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations.
