from the founder YOUR PASSION: If God Calls You To Do Something, Youll Love Doing It

PEOPLE ask me all the time, Bo, how can I know Gods mission for my life? As we shared in the past few weeks, Gods mission for your life is discovered through the raw materials of your personality, your family, and childhood experiences --bad or good. But theres one more factor to considerand I feel its one of the most important ingredients: Your Passion. One of the most powerful elements of business success is passion. If the entrepreneur works like hes not working, but playing, enjoying everything he does, gets lost in what he does, will do what he does even if he doesnt get paideven if he makes all sorts of mistakes at the startby the end of his journey, the likelihood of success is gigantic. These recent years, Ive been coaching people in their small businesses. Im no expert, but when I get stumped, I link up with mentors better than me. Yes, I do know of a few businesses where the owner is miserably successful with it. But sooner or later, the owner will have to scratch his itch and do what he loves to do, even if it isnt profitablewhile using the profits of his miserably successful business. In the same way, when God calls us to do something, He would give us the passion to do it with all our heart. We will find ourselves happy doing it in the long-term, even if well have to go through unhappy times in the shortterm. Have a remarkable Feast today! May your dreams come true,

Welcome!

Your Struggles Are the Path to Your Success

Ruth 2:1-5 Now there was a wealthy and influential man in Bethlehem named Boaz, who was a relative of Naomis husband, Elimelech. One day Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, Let me go out into the harvest fields to pick up the stalks of grain left behind by anyone who is kind enough to let me do it. Naomi replied, All right, my daughter, go ahead. So Ruth went out to gather grain behind the harvesters. And as it happened, she found herself working in a field that belonged to Boaz, the relative of her father-in-law, Elimelech. While she was there, Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters. The LORD be with you! he said. The LORD bless you! the harvesters replied. Then Boaz asked his foreman, Who is that young woman over there? Who does she belong to?

Nothing Just Happens By Chance!

Even our pain (e.g. death, broken home, illness, addictions, poverty, joblessness, tragedies, etc.) can make us unique. And in talk 3 of the series yoUnique, Bro. Eng related pain to the story behind the carving of Piet by Michelangelo. Before it became a masterpiece, it was just a plain marble. But Michelangelo saw its potential and began carving it with sketches and markshammered and chiseled it. In the process, however, Bro. Eng said that if only the marble could speak, it would probably stop the sculptor and just choose to die because of agony. But now, after all the hits and bruises that it has received, the artwork that was once a piece of rock is being admired all over the world because of its beauty. And just like the marble, God allows pain in our lives to bring out our own beauty. He does not make junk; we are His original masterpiece. And in the end, our stumbling blocks will become our stepping stones towards His purpose for us. - Rochelle Tubilla

By: Ramir Espenilla No matter how large or small an organization is, one thing remains constantthe need of its members to connect with one another. And as a part of a caring group in the Light of Jesus community, I have proven this to be true. It was almost a year ago when I started attending the Feast, Ramir (right) w/ his but never in my mind has it occurred that I will get involved in CGMATES a caring group (small groups that study the scriptures together while sharing day-to-day experiences in life). My only intention then was to be a regular attendee. But with my urge to experience spiritual maturity, together with my Huddle peers encouragement, I was drawn to sign up with a caring group. And Ive made the right decision because Ive found myself enjoying the camaraderie of my group mates, particularly during our discussions and sharing of personal experiences where everybody is all ears and excited to throw personal thoughts. And whats more is that a session will not be complete without the cracking of the jokes and punch lines amid our meriendaone hour is definitely not enough with all the fun! But our group is more than just a set of friends hanging out together. These people have changed my life. It is through them that I learned to express my love and care to other people, especially to my familysomething that I dont really do before. Theyve also taught me the value of patience and how I should appreciate all the blessings that I receive no matter how meager they may be. After celebrating together the significance of life, the experience is now preserved in our memories. But as Gods servants, we might have to part ways at some point in our lives to be able to serve other people in their spiritual journey.

We are bound to care, to love and to serve!
