Dear DME Families, We would like to thank all of you for your generosity and your participation in our fundraising events this year! During the November PTO meeting parents, teachers, and PTO Members gathered together to decide how the monies that we have raised could be best used towards our school, our classrooms, and most importantly education. Heres what weve come up with: $100.00 Set aside for 2nd Quarter AR Awards $1,000.00 Set aside for Teacher Appreciation Week in May 2013 $1,200.00 for the Music Department. Mrs. Thompson was able to purchase: Three Bass Bars: E, G, and A, One two-octave soprano glockenspiel, two movement props, movement ash cards, and one instrument repair kit. $1,200.00 for the P.E. Department for an archery set that will be used for 4th grade curriculum and for the after school enrichment program $1,500.00 in playground equipment including footballs, soccer balls, basket balls, hula hoops, jump ropes, tether balls, and Frisbees! All equipment will be color coded and separated between each grade level. $1,500.00 to each grade level K 4th. Teachers will have the ability to choose how theyd like to split the monies amongst themselves or to purchase a large item for their grade level. All items will be purchased via the PTO and must be related to education. We have been able to do some amazing things with the money that you have helped DME raise! We raised $55 from our A huge thank you to everyone that donated food Yogurt Jungle Happy Half Day and during our Canned Food Drive! We were able to $100.25 from our Barros Spirit donate over 1,140 cans of food to the Queen Night! Thank you for your continuing support for Desert Creek Migrant and Family Resource Center! Mountain! All the money goes straight back into the classrooms for Third Grade donated the most food with 380 supplies for our students! cans, to win a game afternoon!

*Board Games (Children are welcome to bring their own) *Movie - How the Grinch Stole Christmas *Snack will be provided

(Children may bring their pillows and blankets)

*The rst 50 parents to drop off their child will receive a free QC shopping bag & coupons to local QC stores.
