LanSchool is a classroom management program owned by Stoneware.

It is used by schools to
monitor students' activity. It includes a screen monitor, keystroke monitor, teacher-to-student chat feature, URL monitor, and various other features. Both the LanSchool keystroke monitor and URL monitor can store data for collection later collection. LanSchool can also remotely monitor students in real time while they are outside of school.

Feautures:
Reduce Student Distractions - Teachers can reduce student distractions by Blanking Screens, Limiting Applications and Limiting Web Browsing on student computers. This helps direct student attention from their computer to the teacher and keeps students on task. Monitor Students - Ideal for monitoring student activity within a classroom setting, the Thumbnail feature allows you to view all screens as well as see the current application and website that the students are running. Teachers can send messages to all or individual students. Remote Control Student - The Remote Control Student feature in LanSchool allows teachers to be mobile in the classroom while still having access to remotely use the mouse and keyboard on a selected students machine. Remote Control Teacher - Remote Control Teacher allows teachers to use all the features of the LanSchool Teacher Console while moving about the classroom.

Installation Guide
Download the installer of LanSchool in the internet, many version has come out but we have used the previous version LanSchool 7.0.0.7 and we used torrent to download it. The Server in the Lanschool is the Teacher and the Clients are the Students, the next step below will guide you for the installation.

Setting Up the Server: 1. After downloading the installation, run the setup.exe in your download folder directory. See screenshot below:

3. To be a server choose LanSchool Teacher, see screenshot below:

4. This is a portion of the installation where you can choose your own channel, we choose 26 as our channel. See screen shot below.

5. Finish the installation, see screen shots below:

6. After the installation, the Lancshool icon is displayed in your tray.

7. You can edit the properties of the Lanschool Teacher, see screen shot below:

10. Show your Desktop to your clients.

Setting up a CLIENT: 1. Same server, your folder See the below. with the Run the setup.exe in download directory. screenshot

2. Follow the Installation guide appear. See screenshot.

3. As the client. Choose the LanSchool Student. Then click NEXT.

In this portion, the SERVER choose a CHANNEL 26 as our channel. As a client, you put the same channel as of your server. Then click NEXT.

5. Click NEXT to complete your installation.

6. After installation, LanSchool icon appear in your tray. You are now waiting for the Server to remotely control you.
