Course Objective To explore the concepts and techniques relating to LTT and enable the students to learn its critical issues. The course essentially aims at understanding concepts of Leadership and Team Building which can convert groups into performing teams for earning a cutting edge in todays competitive environment. At the end of the course students will be able to: Learn basic concepts of groups & teams. Understand group dynamics and its impact on behavior. Learn team life cycle and various stages in building teams. Session 3: Life cycle of a team ACTIVITY: Syndicate discussions on Social Awareness Programme (SAP) 8 Groups will be made in each section and each group will be asked to give name of one organization that they will be visiting, write a report on what good work they are doing for society as part of social responsibility and finally give a presentation for further evaluation. Learning Pedagogy A series of lectures as per above session plan will impart knowledge and conceptual Understanding of the subject and will be complemented by interactive tutor-led and student-led discussions.. The unit has thus been designed to use a variety of teaching pedagogies including Case Studies, Group Discussions and Home assignments / Projects that will help students to learn and apply various concepts relating to Leading Through Teams EVALUATION: Evaluation will be continuous as per laid down criteria and based upon: Attendance, Punctuality, Regularity, Class participation, Assignments, Tests and general impression etc
