Thank You for your prayers during the birth of our grandson.

Liam and his Mom are doing fine and yes, I do have some pictures A special Thank You to Eldon Eckerd for filling in for me this past Sunday and to Calvin Brownhill for covering the Wednesday evening service. I am so blessed as a Pastor to have so many capable men in the congregation that can preach. Did you know that we have seven retired ministers in our congregation? That is a blessing! Work has begun on the Miles Youth Building and I am excited to see the daily progress. I will remind you that buildings dont bring people to the Lord. People who believe introduce non believers to the Lord. People like you and me who have developed relationships bring others to the Lord. This Sunday I will be preaching on Matthew, one who brought his friends to the Lord. I will also be introducing My Hope, a Billy Graham emphasis, to the congregation. I want to encourage you to be here this Sunday morning. There is only one hope for America and His name is JESUS. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

April 27, 11 am - 1 pm Moms and their sons are invited to attend our first Mommy & Son Day. Bring a packed lunch and blanket for a picnic on the green space. FBC will provide the drinks and dessert. Summer Games
I am looking for volunteers for Wednesday nights during the summer. We'll be on campus at FBC beginning at 6:45 pm for children who've completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids will compete on four color teams to see which team can out play the other in water games, obstacle courses and team building activities. Kids may also earn points for their teams for scripture memory and discipleship training. I most especially need a Preschool tract leader! 30hr Famine I want to say Thank You to all the students and to Darren and Tammy Deal for going with us to Dothan for the 30hr famine. We had a great time of fellowship, worship, and being the hands and feet of Christ. Jr. and Sr. Trip- The Jr. and Sr. trip is right around the corner and you dont want to miss it. This year we will be going to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. We will play together during the day and have bible study at night. We will be saying goodbye to our Seniors while encouraging our Juniors into the leadership roles of our student ministry. Dont miss out if you are a junior or senior. BCM/ College ministry Mission Trip- The college students will be heading to New Orleans for our yearly mission trip on May 11th-17th. The cost will be $65/person and this will include lodging, food, and a great time. If you have a student off at college, make sure and let them know about our trip.
