21st June 2013 Oak Street Kindergarten Dear Families, What a busy term 2 we have had at Oak Street

Kindergarten. I am sure you will all agree the kindergarten is looking wonderful and the 15 hour program is working well. It s hard to believe its almost school holidays again, time certainly flies by!! We are very pleased to advise that we will be taking down the tape and beginning to use the front door of the kindergarten effective this Monday 24th June. The foyer area is a great addition to the kindergarten allowing families to gather out of the weather before and after their kindergarten sessions. As I am sure you are aware the front entrance is quite different now without the fence and gate and the kinder can be a busy place at drop off and pick up times. Please remember that you are responsible for your children until you have signed them in for the day and after you have signed them out at the end of the session. Please be mindful of where your children are at all times and also take care to ensure that children who are not in your care do not leave the building unattended. The staff will be talking to the children about road safety but would certainly appreciate if families could help us by reinforcing to the children the hold hands, keep safe approach. I hope we can all work together to ensure that Oak Street Kindergarten is a safe, happy and fun place to be! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.
