Duration of various Formative Assessments:

Formative Assessment-1 April to May Formative Assessment-2 July to August Formative Assessment-3 October to December Formative Assessment-4 January to February Marks for each task may vary. Each Formative Assessment carries 10% marks for final result.

SCHOLASTIC EVALUATION
End of term or end of the year exams Maximum Marks for each subject will be 90. 30% marks will be added in the final result. Time duration allowed will be 3 hours. The syllabus for each term remains limited for that particular term.

Maintain C.W and H.W. notebook neatly.

Every task assigned to them is graded.

Understand the relevance of Regularity and Punctuality in Formative Assessment.

DOS and DONTS for Students


Submit HW and Projects on time. Complete CW in the stipulated time meant for that subject daily. Maintain school diary sincerely and communicate the same to the parent. Prepare lessons daily so that they are not overburdened during tests and Summative Assessments. Understand that each activity is being regularly scrutinized by the teacher.

It is sure that a child learns his first lesson at home. Hence, it becomes moral duty of the parents to provide healthy atmosphere at home.

TIPS FOR PARENTS

It is required that the parents support their child in his development by encouraging him to participate in various activities, completing his/her work regularly. The parents should / must attend the various programmes conducted by the school. This motivates a child. Apart from motivation, it is a good mode to recreate where a child is learning by doing.

A good parent will always make sure that his / her child is not adopting wrong ways and means to get their conditions fulfilled.

TIPS FOR PARENTS

Parents should keep in touch with the teachers in regard with the progress of the child. Check the School Diary daily for positive and negative feedback. Guide the child through the projects and assignments given to him. Dont provide external help.
