Who can take part?

Participants are all children in the Achensee Region, between the ages of
4 and 11.

When is the programme?

The children´s and teenager´s programme is from 6th July until 4th Sep-
tember and from 5th October until 23rd October 2009 and from Monday
until Friday at the times listed below. Cool!
Meeting point: Daily holiday programme in
The children will be met 15 minutes before the given times by a leader
who will accompany the children on the bus. Please make sure that you the Achensee Region
are on time as the busses have a schedule to keep to, therefore, children
arriving late will miss out on the days programme! The children must
How much does the daily programme cost? for children between the ages of 4 and 11
have their white bus ticket with them. This free bus ticket is given out on
arrival at your hotel or reception. There is no fee, the programme is free of charge, however, Euro 5,00 is 6th July - 4th September 2009
Without this white ticket the bus fare must be paid for! for lunch which includes something to eat and drink. The fee is paid in 5th - 23rd October 2009

Wiesing Information Office: 09:45 a.m. The programme will take place regardless of the weather, however, if the
weather is extremely bad or if there are not enough children, the program-
me will be cancelled. Due to the weather situation the programme can be
changed at short notice.

Please be at the bus stop punctually!

Where do I register?
There is no registration necessary. All you need to do is to bring
your child punctually to the meeting place. Information can be ob-
tained in any of the Information Offices or under the telephone no.
+43/(0)5246/5300.

What do I need to take with me?

Your children need sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate to the wea-
ther. If it is necessary a raincoat or cape! The children will be walking
or hiking or making some kind of handcraft so it is, therefore, necessary
for them to have a rucksack with them. The children should be able to
carry their own rucksack!

 A very varied weekly programme has been organised for summer
2009. Fun and adventure to be experienced with our, this year pro-
gramme leaders. Don´t miss this year´s children´s programme in the
Achensee Region - we look forward to meeting you!
Monday
Insect Congress
Insect Congress under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. “Seppi” the worm!
With expensive equipment in our rucksacks we will begin our discovery
trip. And with our super “beaker” micro scope we will inspect everything
which is crawling around us and then the “Prof.” will hopefully explain to
us what it is! After lunch we will be fit for an exciting forest expedition.
Tuesday
Riding
Attention all horse lovers!
This morning we will travel to our riding stables and see who is the most

talented in horse riding! We will have lunch together before carrying on or
having fun playing.
Wednesday
Adventure in the Forest
Today is the day for adventure in the forest: whether climbing, flying fox,
balancing on a slackline, there are plenty of activities to be managed. Our
qualified mountain guide will give you all the confidence you need, plus a
helmet and a safety rope. Although safety is always the key priority having
fun is second to none! Who will win the tree climbing race? What a thought,
to think that we cannot climb as high as “Alfons Adler” can fly...
Thursday
“Wusel” the friendly water ghost
“Wusel” the friendly water ghost is searching for a lost crystal - a bottle
message with a secret note in it: “Wusel” the intelligent water ghost, wants
“human” children to help with find the treasure hidden in the water. Cle-
verness and awareness is asked for here! Who will find the crystal? “Wusel”
thanks the children by giving them a certificate and a lucky-stone medal.
Evening programme
Every Thursday evening there is a twilight hike at 9:00 p.m. from the
Tourist Office in Maurach. The hike lasts approx. 1 hour and we do hope
you will all take part - and bring your parents with you.
Attention: In October this evening hike will start at 8:00 p.m.
Friday
Pirates
The last day in the week, and we are looking for pirates in all shapes
and sizes! The lake - Achensee - belongs to us. Quickly we will build our
float and hoist our pirate flag before pushing it into the water. Wonder
if we will find the lost treasure as here is the key to our pirate picnic!
Bring your bathing shorts with you and look forward to a very, wet but
exciting day. Life jackets are on hand! Without a life jacket, you cannot
take part!
Children´s Festival
On 22nd June and 15th August there is a Children´s Festival in the Achen-
see Region - face-painting, hop-castle, creative hand-work, making
animals out of balloons, pony-riding and lots more! Further informa-
