Personnel changes
1991 our Nias Heritage Foundation was founded: Yayasan Pusaka Nias. From the beginning Pastor Johannes was in personal union Chairman of the Foundation and also a director of the museum. But after our former President Soeharto had been dethroned, there were stricter laws for foundations. Now Pastor Johannes could only take one position. Based on his experience and practical work, the management of the Capuchin Province suggested that he should remain director. In addition, the Board of Trustees was appointed rather nominal. So, Pastor Johannes is becoming the chairman of foundation. Now there are 2 periods of 5 years each behind us. And on the 8th October 2013, Pastor Johannes was appointed as Chairman of Nias Heritage Foundation and Deputy Director, Nata'alui Duha is now director of the museum.
