on in the SEC Didnt qualify for a bowl game for the first time since 2004 This Year 10-1 (6-1 SEC) Loss o To South Carolina o Should not have lost o Missed an easy field goal in overtime Notable wins o Georgia (41-26) o Ole Miss (24-10) o Vandy (51-28) Opponent record o 57-51 (ours is 65-42 Offense Type o Spread o North/south run game o 17th in the nation for offense (by yards) o 14th in the nation for scoring offense o 18th in the nation for rushing o 44th in the nation for passing Quarterback o James Franklin Was injured earlier in the season. Back last week Rumor is that he was injured yesterday in a bicycle accident while on his way to Churchs Chicken (not making this up) 67% completions Can also run (almost 50 yards each game) o Maty Mauk Backup QB Has done a pretty good job while Franklin was injured Rushing

o Lead the SEC in rushing o Good news is, all three running-backs are pretty similar in running style o All weigh between 190-195 pounds (Ben Malena size) o Henry Josey 855 yards this season (78 per game) Scores 21% of the Tigers touchdowns o Russell Hansbrough 576 yards this season o Marcus Murphy 552 yards this season Wide Receiver o Shortest wide receiver is 62 o This is a tall, athletic group who can also jump o LDamian Washington 727 yards this season 19/1 yards per catch 15% of touchdowns o Dorial Green-Beckham 595 yards 15% of touchdowns o Marcus Lucas 590 yards Offensive Line o Very talented o Have been the main reason for such a successful run game Strengths o Veteran QB o Lead the SEC in rushing o Tall receivers and good completion percentage (with Franklin) Weaknesses o Slightly undersized running-backs o QB that has not played consistently due to injury o Not very many weaknesses

Defense Type o o o o o o o

4-3 Leads the SEC in sacks Leads the SEC in interceptions 51st in the nation (by yards) 14th in the nation (by scoring) 13th in the nation for rush defense 112th in the nation for pass defense

o #2 scoring defense in the SEC o Last in the SEC for pass defense Defensive Line o Excellent defensive line o Defensive ends create havoc through great pass rushing o Michael Sam Leads the SEC for sacks (10) and tackles for a loss (17) Finalist for the Lombardi and Nagurkski awards Linebacker o Andrew Wilson Leads the team in tackles o Donovan Bonner Cornerback o E.J. Gaines 4 interceptions o Randy Ponder o Others are fairly inexperienced Defensive Back o Matt White o Not very good at defending the pass Strengths o This will be the quickest defense we have faced (fast and agile) o Leads the SEC in sacks and interceptions (that is incredible) Weaknesses o Do not have the size that other SEC defenses have (but neither do we) o Are 112th in the nation for pass defense

Special Teams Kicker makes 70% of field goals Second to last in the SEC for punting Average or a little less than average special teams Key Players QBJames Franklin (injured?) WRLDamian Washington RBHenry Josey DEMicahel Sam Key Matchups Our offensive line vs their pass rush (mainly defensive ends)

o Our offensive line has proven to be one of our most overrated positions this season. It will need to perform well against the Missouri pass rush if we are going to have a good passing game. Johnny Manziel vs Mizzou secondary o This is definitely a secondary that Johnny can do well against. However, this is a secondary that also is good at forcing interceptions. Tiger rushing vs ourentire defense o Our defense probably will not get as banged up this game since we are facing a smaller team with smaller running-backs. However, this running-backs are faster and more agile. We will need to have solid tackling

What to Watch For Running the football o Last game we ran the ball a TOTAL of 6 TIMES (3 to Malena and 3 to T-Will) o This had a lot to do with getting down by two touchdowns early on and never having close yardage attempts o Will we run the ball more this game (especially since Mizzou has such a pass rush and a lot of interceptions)? Turnovers o Mizzou has only had 12 turnovers the entire season so far (6 fumbles and 6 interceptions). o Mizzou has forced 6 turnovers and 18 interceptions o #1 in the SEC for turnover margin Penalties o Mizzou does not get very many penalties (only 38 yards per game worth). Former Big 12 Matchup o This game might look a bit different from the other SEC games. Both teams are still playing mostly with recruits that were recruited for Big 12 play and with styles that resemble the Big 12 for this reason. Johnny Manziels injured thumb o There is no much news to what is wrong with his hand. Some speculate that it is a nerve problem from his shoulder injury earlier this season against Auburn. Some say he fractured his hand against Mississippi State. Others say he jammed his finger badly against Mississippi State and re-jammed it against LSU. Will it affect his throwing this game? If people arent laughing at your goals, your goals are not big enough o Watch for Johnny to overcome adversity and have a stellar game despite everything in his way Breaking out a new look

o Aggie FB Life has been posting tons of strange pictures and saying to wait till 11/30 to see what the uniform surprise is. o My guess is new shoes, helmets, and undershirts OR new pants

What Else You Should Know This game means everything for Mizzouri o A win for Missouri means they win the SEC East and will play in the SEC Championship o A win also makes a strong case for a BCS bowl Weather for the game o Low to mid 40s o 5 mph wind Prediction: 41-38 Texas Aggies
