Ambassador Pakistan at World Startup Report October 2013 - Present (3 months) 'World Startup Report' is a social mission of Silicon Valley Serial Entrepreneur, Bowei Gai to document and connect the world startup community. After selling 2 of his companies to LinkedIn, he started his ambitious quest of 29 countries, 36 cities. Fortunately, Bowei happened to be my mentor in Global Startup Youth (GSY) during 4rth GES, KL Malaysia in October, 2013. When I came back, a thought why is my country not in Bowei's list of documenting world startup community drove me and, 'Pakistan Startup Report' (PSR) came into being! Currently, I am working with Bowei and his team of World Startup Report along with Adnan Shahid, CEO Ideogeny who has believed in my idea and ready to help/guide + provide logistic support for materialization of PSR! Global Shaper at World Economic Forum September 2012 - Present (1 year 4 months) Youth Leader at Global Startup Youth (GSY) October 2013 - October 2013 (1 month) Received full Scholarship from Ministry of Finance Malaysia for represented Pakistan as 'Youth Leader' in Global Startup Youth (GSY) - a gathering of tomorrow's coders, hustlers, domain experts and youth leaders to huddle together for 3 intense days to come up with solutions for some of the world's pressing problems! Mural Painting in Quitcom County Middle School, Mississippi, US at The University of Mississippi Volunteers November 2012 - Present (1 year 2 months) I completed 20 hours of community service in the Quitcom County Middle School for my 'Cultural Ambassador' to America Passport. I did mural painting of the map of United States in the middle school for students. This Volunteer experience taught me a lot about the spirit of Volunteerism which is a part of American Culture and not very common in Pakistan. I was amazed to see that College students do so much volunteer work which is really making a difference to the lives of the people and most importantly, their community.

Projects
Piezoelectric Shoe September 2010 to Present Members:Maha Y., Nasrullah Khatri, Nazir Vaid I started working on Piezoelectric materials in third semester of Chemical Engineering at SCME, NUST and came up with an idea of 'Piezoelectric Solution to Pakistan Energy Crisis'. We worked in a team of three and made a prototype of the Piezoelectric Shoe to check the proof of the concept and then made a business plan out of it. The Power Shoe charges your mobile batteries when you go for a walk converting wasted mechanical energy into electrical energy. The project was presented in Second Global Summit on Entrepreneurship by the PM of Turkey and was among 25 semi-finalists from 43 countries. It was also among the top 10 projects selected from entire Europe for EMEA Finale in London Business School of Global Social Venture Competition by Haas Business School, Berkely. Making use of Industrial Waste August 2007 to October 2007 Members:Maha Y., Abuzer Hanif Worked as a team leader on a project involving the production of biogas from spent wash (an industrial waste of a sugar mill), Collaborated with Shakarganj Sugar Mill for the project. There was a team of two. The project was represented in the International Geofest Science Exhibition in Lucknow, India in 2007 Energy Basket September 2010 to November 2010 Members:Maha Y., Nasrullah Khatri, Nayyar Mehmood After researching on the conversion of chemical energy of fruits into electrical energy in a team of two a prototype basket was made which converted the chemical energy of vegetables and fruits into electrical energy.
