Introduction The shi& left the /sland of the 1ands from the &revious adventure Warrior Within with the fierce Prince of Persia and -m&ress 2aileena who ruled the /sland, for the 3ity of Babylon. Throughout this game a female narrator will often comment. During this tri& she tells us the story of the Prince of Persia0 We all make mistakes: some are small, some are large. But his mistake, born of innocence, fueled by pride, was the greatest and most terrible of them all. 4t this moment the Prince is loo%ing at the magical 4mulet in his hand, the one he got from the old man. Some believed when the Prince journeyed to the sland of !han to escape death that he returned alone, the "nderworld destroyed, the #ahaka defeated, the $mpress dead. !he Prince was free at last. But this is not how it happened. !he truth is that he chose to save me from my destiny. %nd doing so he set me free... and doomed us all. The Prince throws his 4mulet into the sea... They sail u& the river -u&hrates and are reaching the 3ity of Babylon . 2aileena0 Prince& 'f all the possible futures, this one held the most promised. But something has changed.Prince0 #o not worry, (aileena. )o harm will come to you in Babylon, promise* +ook: we are nearly home* The metro&olitan 3a&ital of 5eso&otamia in the middle of the desert offers a magnificent view from the river -u&hrates with its fire tower and the im&ressive Tower of Babel in the middle of the 3ity 6 the first 1%yscra&er the world had ever seen. 7Historical +emar%0 The ruins of Babylon are still situated in contem&orary /ra8 some 9! miles West of Baghdad, which was built later as the ca&ital during the 4rab golden age, about :!! 43 and is lying on the +iver Tigris. ,esopotamia is a ;ree% word, literally meaning <in the middle of two rivers=0 the -u&hrates and Tigris rivers>. But what the Prince sees when a&&roaching the harbor goes beyond all imagination? The whole 3ity has been looted. 4 war is going on there, which is something the Prince had never antici&ated0 during his absence Babylon was invaded by Barbarians? The Prince@s shi& gets hit by a huge fire ball and sin%s. He can reach a floating &iece of the wrec% whereas 2aileena is drifting away unconsciously on another raft. 4rrows and fire balls are destroying the once so beautiful 3ity damaging even the &roud Tower of Babel. 4nd from here the new adventure will start... The Prince of Persia Saga

This is the 9th game of the 1aga that Jordan 5echner introduced in the early :!@s to ;ameland. The first two games were on a flo&&y disc and in fact were 8uite clumsy games. But they have become 3ollector@s /tems now? Then in ABB: Prince of Persia -# was released, which was a game revolution. The Prince was still moving somewhat clumsily, but the story line was great and the gra&hics su&erb for that year. *nfortunately this s&lendid game can only be &layed in Windows B:. ,ater in !!C a 5ontreal #)rench 3anadian$ crew too% over the series and introduced the first of the new Prince ;ames0 !he Sands of !ime. 4 whole new Prince and a magnificent game &lay. 'eDt year a new story was released with a Prince having a dar%er soul0 Warrior Within, which / still consider as the best Prince game ever made. 4nd this new game is the se8uel to Warrior Within. 4nd it loo%s very &romising? Game Play 4ll info can be found on the DED0 the manual, game controls etc... 5ontreal advises us to &lay the game with a ;ame&ad and / surely agree with that. /t is not my intention to advertise ;ame&ad brands, but the best on the mar%et #es&ecially for The Thrones$ is the ,ogitech 3ordless Dual +umble&ad . 4ll controls can be set from within the game, so you &lay blindly and don@t have to watch those damned 2eyboard %eys. This is li%e &laying the game on P1 since the Dual +umble&ad is a loo%.a.li%e to the P1 game&ad controller, with A &rogrammable buttons and analog stic%s. )irst /@m going to &rovide you an o&timiFed &rogramming for the ,ogitech +umble&ad #3ordless or not$. )rom now on the Buttons in s8uare brac%ets will refer to these settings. e.g. 7B9> will refer to Button 9, 7,41> to the ,eft 4nalog 1tic% and 7+41> to the +ight 4nalog 1tic%. /' 5-'*0 *& Down ,eft +ight Saved Games The 1aved ;ames are not overwritten and you have endless saved games available. Play any &revious game from the ,oad ;ame o&tion. ;ames can only be saved when the Prince drin%s from a 1ave )ountain. Then you will be as%ed if you want to save or not. Sand Credits Throughout the game you can gather Sand Credits to o&en -Dtra )eatures from the main menu. This section contains an 4rtwor% ;allery and a Eideo ;allery, each with subdivisions and are really worthwhile seeing. There is also material from the &revious ;ames0 !he Sands of !ime and Warrior Within and there are even &arody video cli&s of the Prince which you will li%e for a good laugh? Hou will find Sand Credits at certain 1and ;ates and in hidden ;olden 3hests you have to o&en. ;ather as many as you can? These ;alleries are highly recommended? Patch for Unlimited Sand Tanks Hou will start this ;ame with C out of 9 activated 1and Tan%s but you can@t use them until the &ower is activated later on in the ;ame. Their &ur&ose is to go into slow motion 6 meaning you will still move normally but your entire surroundings will slow down for about A! seconds. 4lso to rewind to a &revious &osition 6 say when you dro& dead, you can rewind to your original &osition as if as nothing ha&&ened. -ach such move cost one 1and Tan%. Hou can fill u& s&ent 1and Tan%s by defeating an enemy or smashing certain obNects li%e Nars, &ots and crates that contain 1and. / have created a Patch to get unlimited filled 1and Tan%s as soon as you get all 9 unloc%ed. But / would not encourage you to a&&ly it as it ta%es away all the thrill and fun of the game, and / am not in favor of 3heats in ;ames at all. However, the 1ublevel The Terrace in ,evel B, The Tower of Babel may be a very frustrating eD&erience. 4fter you have re&layed this 1ublevel for the A!! th time you may be willing to a&&ly this Patch to finish the 1ublevel after all. 1o if you want this Patch, get it and here are the instructions. Hears ago a cou&le of +ussian guys launched a freeware &rogram in -nglish called Game Cheater Art oney !s" #"$# which was a very small and sim&le &rogram whose &ur&ose was to obtain unlimited OOOO with Po%er 4rcade ;ames. This &rogram is not available any longer since they have u&graded the &rogram many times since then. 4nd the newer versions won@t do the tric%, only Es. 9. 9 will do it, so this is the one you need. / still have stored Es. 9. 9 #from my former Po%er ;ames addiction$ and have eD&erimented with it on this very game !he !wo !hrones. 4nd it wor%s to get unlimited 1and Tan%s too? Hou can get this &rogram mailed free when re8uesting it from gamesover(&lanet.nl. 2ee& in mind that this &rogram is about K"!2b. Be sure your &rovider allows that siFe of attachments? +eturn to the game and start &laying. Hou will have 9 filled 1and Tan%s again and when s&ending one for slow motion or rewind, it will immediately restore. /n other words0 you have 9 unlimited 1and tan%s now. However, when you close the game this 5agic will have vanished. /f you &lay it neDt time and you want unlimited 1and Tan%s again you will have to re&eat this entire &rocess before &laying the ;ame. /t only ta%es a few minutes. /t may sound com&licated, but after a few times you@ll %now the ste&s by heart.
