Main Goal The necessity of our location within the city to combine social elements, residential areas, economic growing, urban develop and an ecological community, causes that we consider to create a space that welcomes an habitable area, a space for the leisure and the entertainment, a place where a business centre can be generated, as well as distinguishing key element which highlight Stavanger as much as Norway in our project. As a result, our plot is outside the scope of action of the esplanade. Solution We accede to the plot by ve dierent entrances. The rst one, it is in the North corner of the plot to integrate the bicycle path like the most essential part of communication in our project. In the same line following though the south, running into the high entrance to the cover, going down the street and focusing on the street though the water, we found an amphitheatre which places us at the same level of the plot. Going down the street though the fjord we found the exit from the bicycle path as well as the entrance to our oating orchards. The last access is from the sea, getting o your own boat from the fjord. In order to solve climatological problems such as the few hours of sun, the rain, the snow and the cold, we put within the plot a passable cover that produces two eects. The rst one, it is the defence of the adverse climatology in this place. The other eect, it is a social space of encounter, transit, relaxing, and entertainment. Some triangular nucleuses of communication are the nexus between the lower spaces which have an obvious privacy, and the passable cover which is more public. These triangular nucleuses of communication are transparent, and they have become in the only space that is surrounded by a ramp. This ramp gets directly to the vertical orchards, and culminates in a series of top oors where commercial shops and social stores related to the food are the main characters. Moreover, this oers to the people an exceptional view of the Norwegian fjord. We have several platforms whose shape is similar to the triangles. These platforms are tted in the network and have their own otation. Furthermore, these shapes encourage the public use because these triangular areas create a kind of vegetable path more participative with public trainings, exchange information or make activities. This idea of the public use is also supported by using your own boat to arrive these meetings. As far as the house, we suggest an enclosure with a series of buildings in block. A social study of the area has been realised, and the conclusion of this study has been the low cultural level, a large number of immigrants and the displacement of social elements such as meeting points, restaurants or stores. The proposal is to realise a permanent project that regenerates the area, reactivates its cultural occupation, business and native people who help to the integration of this high rate of immigration. For this reason, we will rely on the future of the esplanade, improving it with a new stroll that crosses our scope and renewing the accesses to the same, creating more pedestrian streets.
