Mihi atu kia koutou katoa There is a lot of final planning activity taking place around the motu / Seeking sponsorships / Traffic Management Plans / Food / seating / shelter / site facilities and utilities /hiring of equipment/ Emergency services / Health & Safety Issues. Mapping and marking of trail for the Hikoi will be done in March. Invitations to categorised VIPs / and Community / Iwi Registrations for seats / Hiring buses & Drivers, recruiting volunteers / planning the Pae and the Programme. Seeking advice from advisors. t And then organising entertainers and programme for the WEBSITE: http://orakau300.co.nz Commemoration Dinner / Entertainment to follow the commemoration. A big challenge is to find descendants of Tpuna who fought at the Battle so that they can share their Tpuna story during the Hikoi. And to plan to have you with us when we honour and remember those who fell during the battle and those who survived. The Governor General has confirmed his attendance.

IMPORTANT - Please register on line with your information for Lanyard Identification - You will need to check-in at Kihikihi Domain from 29th March to 31st March 2014 inclusive. On checking in, you will receive a lanyard ID with all your details This is your admission on shuttle to the battle site Other vehicles will not be permitted on Arapuni Road to the Battle Site. Arapuni Road will be closed to all traffic unless authorised by Traffic Management. Registrations can be purchased in bulk for Kaumtua / Kuia by Trust Boards. RESERVATION ON SHUTTLE AND A SEAT AT THE BATTLE SITE.
