FirstClass Update
The Upper Room and New Heritage FirstClasses are combining
classes beginning TODAY. The class, taught by Lee Zaker, will
meeting in the West Chapel .

Love & Respect for Newlyweds (and Not So Newlyweds)

This class is no longer just for newlyweds! This brand new FirstClass
begins TODAY at 9:00 am in Room 200 North.

Missions Council
The Missions Council will meet today at 3:30 pm in Room 200 North.

Well, good morning. What a terrific day to gather in the Lord's House
for worship. I hope you're glad to be here today and I trust that
you've had a good week.
Today, the theme of our service is grace. Well, I guess you'll be able to
tell that from the notes tucked inside this bulletin. What I'll be talking
about is God's grace; the grace that God showers each of us with con-
stantly. We are recipients of such massive amounts of grace from
God.
May the Lord bless you today and may you know His favor.

Support Group for Caregivers
A monthly support group for those providing care to an aged or
chronically ill loved one, while losing sight of themselves. Meets
Monday, February 11th at 6:30 pm in the Cry Room. Elder care

Singles to Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame
Saturday, February 16th from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Meet in the church
west parking lot. Tickets are $6.00 for adults/$5.00 for seniors. Bring

Tennyson Center Outing
theClay will head to the Tennyson Center on Saturday, February 23rd,
from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm. For more info, go to theClay.org.
Family Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast
Saturday, March 22nd from 9:30-11:30 am. For children birth - 3rd
grade. The Children’s Department is now collecting individually
wrapped candy for this event! Please bring your candy to the
Children’s Welcome Center or the Reception Desk.
Hymn Sing
Mark your calendar for the next Rocky Mountain Praise Singers &
Orchestra Hymn Sing, February 24th at 6:00 pm. Your participation in
either the choir, orchestra or congregation is welcomed. To be part of
choir/orchestra, register online at www.DenverFirstChurch.com. You
need attend only one rehearsal on Saturday, February 23rd (8:30-10:30
am) or Sunday, February 24th (3:00-5:00 pm). This is a free event.
Invite others to join us! A love offering will be taken.
Time to Connect
Time to Connect for Women will meet Thursday, February 21st at 6:30
pm in the West Foyer.
Calling All SOGS
We will have an informational meeting next Sunday, February 17th.
Please come and we will talk about the 2008 Rocky Mountain
Rendezvous. Lunch will be served. Please call Angie at 303/806-2603
and let her know if you will be attending (so we have enough food for
everyone!!).
Waves Tubing Rescheduled
The Waves tubing trip to Fraiser has been rescheduled for Saturday,
February 23rd. Please meet at DFC at 8:45 am and we will be returning
by 6:00 pm. Cost is $40.00 per person. We will have dinner at Beau
Jo’s Pizza before returning.
Mission:Denver
Join us on Saturday, February 23rd as we reach beyond our walls to
serve the homeless and working poor in Denver. Meet at DFC at 8:00
am.
New Women’s Prayer Group
We have started a new prayer group to focus on praying for our nation
and the upcoming election. We will meet the first Wednesday of each
month from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Chapel. Our next meeting will be
March 5th.
