MIMI MUNGEDI
Six-foot-eight center Mimi
Mungedi has made remarkable
improvements on the court for the
women`s basketball team in her
third year with the Wolf Pack. By fne-tuning
her fundamentals, she has become a force
to be reckoned with. Mungedi has earned a
spot in the starting lineup, and on Feb. 1 she
recorded a career-high 24 points in the 84-74
overtime win over Air Force.
TERILYN MOE
Sophomore Terilyn Moe is
coming off of an ACL injury from
last season. The anterior cruciate
ligament in the knee is the most
common to sprain or tear. After seven to eight
months of rehab, Moe has returned without
a brace, and she`s dominating as the second
leading scorer for Nevada with 11.7 points as
one of the starters.
COLE HUFF
Cole Huff is only in his second
season with the Wolf Pack. As
a sophomore, he`s one of the
starting forwards and is averaging
11.8 points a game. Last season he only saw 14
starts and averaged just 4.3 points a game. He
has been described as the most improved on
the team by Nevada point guard Deonte Burton
and head coach David Carter.
MARQUEZE COLEMAN
Even though this guard sees
limited minutes as the sixth man,
he still always brings energy
every time he steps on the court.
Sophomore Marqueze Coleman is averaging
6.4 points in 18 minutes a game. He scored in
double digits in Nevada`s last two games of the
2012-2013 season as a starter. He`ll be a major
factor in the Wolf Pack`s future, but for now he`s
only been back for a little over a month due to
cataract surgery, and he`s rocking some new
tinted goggles.
RONNIE STEVENS, JR.
There was a point when six-
foot-eight Ronnie Stevens, Jr.
was the main post player seeing
action for Nevada early in the
season. His presence certainly made a
difference. But this junior has a history of
injuries, and in December had to undergo
surgery for stress fractures in his legs.
Stevens missed 12 games to recover. He
returned on Feb. 5 against Utah State. He`s
seen limited time, but he provides something
the Pack desperately needs: height.

MENS BASKETBALL
Hes hot, and hes cold. Junior AJ
West is currently on a slump. The
last time he had a monster game
was in the 69-56 overtime win
versus Air Force on Feb. 1 where
he posted a double-double of 12

with four blocks. That was the last
time he scored in double digits.
His stats reached a new low on
Saturday with only two points
and ve rebounds in the loss to
New Mexico.

Sophomore Amanda Weis had a
historic performance as Nevada
saw victory over BYU 20-10. Weis
nished 4-for-5 at the plate with
four runs scored, seven RBI, 14
total bases and three home runs

THE SKINNY: The Silver and
Blues last competition was on
Feb. 1 against intrastate rival
UNLV. The Wolf Pack made a
splash by defeating the Rebels
150-133. However, because the
Nevada divers did not show,
UNLV claimed 22 points in
the two diving events. But that
didnt matter because the Pack
won eight of the 14 swimming
events, outscoring the Rebels
150-111. Nevada has been voted
to nish in fth place out of 10
teams at the Mountain West
Championship. Its biggest
competition will be Boise State,
as it was predicted to be number
one.

THE SKINNY: Nevada hopes to
continue its winning streak as it
travels to Arizona. The team has
blown past four teams and will
take on two different schools this
week. In its last competition on Feb.

only loss stems from dropping its
season opener 5-2 at Hawaii on
