Adult/Child Protective Service Intern-Department of Human Services
Under the supervision of APS and CPS workers, I Investigate complaints of abuse, harm, and neglect on adults and children Conduct telephone and person-to-person interviews with alleged perpetrators, family members, victims, neighbors, professionals and organizations. Participate in home visits, family team meetings, assessments, and in-services.

Lifting, transferring, and transporting residents. Assists with activities of daily living; i.e., bathing, toileting and eating, allowing for the patient to do as much as possible independently. Measure vital signs and record them in the resident's medical records. Maintains cleanliness of residents environment such as bed linens, cleaning up after feedings or other activities. Trained in the proper handling and disposal of bio-hazardous materials, minimizing the risk of spreading infections by proper handling and personal care. Documenting all of the care provided and reporting any changes in resident's condition.
