Thanks in advance vshulyaker@gmail.com Update: Because the automatic OTA update fails - so I tried to do manual update using Si deload - but also fails. here is what I get: I stated Nexus 7 in recovery mode It booted into TWRP Screen I selected advanced - ADB Sideload Then connected to PC and started the ADB Sideload process. It ran until 100% but on Nexus 7 Screen it said "ADB Sideload Complete" and righ t below it said "Failed" At the bottom it shows the following lines: Update partition details... Starting ADB Sideload feature... Now send the package you want to apply to the device with "adb sideload <filenam e>... Restarting abdb... Installing '/data/media/0/sideload.zip'... Checking for MD5 File... file_getprop:failed to start "system/build.prop": No such file or directory E:error in /data/media/0/sideload.zip (Status 7) I see many statements elsewhere that people update to 4.2.2 on the rooted device - can you help to do it without wiping out all programs and go back to stock? Is the problem cause by TWRP? Can someone help? After restarting once i got the OTA(4.3) the update is not install ing and it just stops at TWRP screen. Please help!!!
