/. %he $locking looked like natural mo&ement that would take place in a li&ing
room. %here was plenty of seats for people to sit at, so no one was left standing
throughout the show. Actors also limited themsel&es to le&els that would look like
people do in their homes. ;o$ody was laying on the floor, or standing on the
chairs.
3. O&erall, the #uality of acting was great. %he most memora$le actor was 8ody
<arcukaitis. He showed such good facial expressions that = could relate to ones =
see my own dad and other dad>s use when talking a$out their son. ?rittany
"eterson did a great 4o$ too. 5he was a$le to keep her expressions set as Annette
!aleigh while not saying her lines. <ost of Annette>s lines were reactions to other
characters>, so it helped that she stayed in character so you could watch Annette
react as the others were speaking. ?o$$y 5mith showed a nota$le difference in
character when he had to transition from $eing a hus$and and father to $eing a
lawyer. While on his cell phone he stood up straighter, and took on a more serious
tone in his &oice. ?o$$y made it clear which con&ersation Alan !aleigh was more
focused on. "riya ?ond did a good 4o$ making me dislike her character @eronica.
*. %he set made me think of a wealthy family. =t was yellow and decorated with
African artwork, and expensi&e tulips. %here was plenty of furniture to act around
and use to create interesting positions throughout the show.
6. %he stage was illuminated appropriately for the setting. %he show takes place in
the early afternoon, so it would make sense that the li&ing room is $rightly lit. %he
color of the li&ing room helped light $ounce off and reflect a warm sunlight
feeling.
,. %he costumes helped de&elop each character appropriately. Alan was wearing an
expensi&e suit to show he was a lawyer. Annette>s dress make her seem rich, $ut
also fragile. 5he looked really thin and weak in her dress which fits her character.
@eronica was dressed nicely and creati&ely. 5he has a creati&e and scholarly
$ackground, so it would make sense that she knows how to create an outfit herself
and still look nice. <ichael>s costume looked like something his mom would ha&e
made him wear, so = get the idea that @eronica had to help him pick it out.
