REVIT PROCESS

First Step: Import the Autocad Drawing or the dwg. drawing into the Revit 2014.
1. Open Revit 2014 by clicking the Revit 2014 icon on the desktop screen.

2. Click on the Architectural Template


3. Goto Insert> Import Cad Drawing.

4. Find the Autocad Drawing or the dwg. files and Click it to open in in the Revit 2014.


5. Now you have an Autocad Drawing in the Revit 2014.


Second Step: Build the Autocad Drawing into a 3 Dimensional model.
1. Click on the Wall on the Architectural Panel to build a wall on top of the Autocad
Drawing.

2. Click on the Column on the Architectural Panel to build a column on top of the
Autocad Drawing.

3. Click on the Roof on the Architectural Panel to build a roof on top of the Autocad
Drawing.

4. Click on the Floor on the Architectural Panel to build a floor on top of the Autocad
Drawing.

5. Click on the Model In Place on the Architectural Panel to build a certain object on
top of the Autocad Drawing.

6. After 3D Model is finish, now we are ready to export it into the Autodesk
Naviswork.



Third Step: Exporting Revit 3D Model into the Autodesk Naviswork
1. Set Parameter for the Revit model by giving the their own Task ID

2. After finishes giving all the component exist in the Revit model, click on the big blue
Revit 2014 icon on top left of the page. Click on Export > DWF/DWX and save it.

3. Now you have a DWF/DWX files ready to append to the Autodesk Naviswork


NAVISWORK PROCESS
First Step: Import the 3D Revit model into the Autodesk Naviswork
1. Click the Naviswork icon on the desktop screen to open Autodesk Naviswork.

2. Click Append to import the 3D Model.




3. Now you have the Revit 3D Model in the Naviswork. Link it to the Microsoft
Project, CSV. file, or Primavera in order to create a 4D Model.
